Environmental Education Field Experiences: 1st – 12th grades

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park provides wonderful outdoor learning experiences, in an environment that exists nowhere else in Palm Beach County.

Each program combines exploration of the area, and age-appropriate hands-on activities. Our goal is to instill an understanding of and appreciation for coastal southeast Florida’s plant and animal communities, natural resources, and foster good stewardship. Our curriculum meets the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) for Science, set forth by the Florida State Board of Education and the nationally recognized Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and B.E.S.T. Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics, which includes Making STEM Connections.

Check out the MacBeach Education Brochure to see all of the options for your class!
