Butterfly Walks
Our butterfly walks are offered monthly on a Saturday from March to October.
Reservations required. Call Art Carton, Park Specialist, at 561-776-7449 Ext 109 for dates and times. The program is free with Park Admission. Meet in front of the Gift Shop. Bring your binoculars, water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray.
Intro to Surfing
Ranger, Rob Matriscino, instructs kids 10 years old and up and adults on the basics of surfing. Lessons will be on land and in the water. Bring your surfboard if you have one. Reservations required. Introduction to Kayak Fishing
Ranger Bill Wilson instructs kids and adults of all ages on the basics of kayak fishing. Lessons will be on land. Come and learn what equipment, tackle and gear are necessary to catch the big one. Guided Reef Tour
Take a guided snorkeling tour of the Park’s spectacular near-shore reefs. Learn about the species that inhabit MacArthur’s reefs and waters. Bring your own snorkeling gear, including mask, snorkel and fins. Participants must be an experienced swimmer and snorkeler and at least 10 years of age. Under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the water. No lifeguard on duty and participants will be required to wear a snorkeling safety vest. Reservations required. Moonlight Concerts
Join us for a night of music and moonlight. We will have local musicians, The Conch Stomp Band playing their brand of bluegrass music. Come on down if you like to hear banjos, fiddles and guitars. There will also be stargazing on the boardwalk. After 6 p.m., admission to the park is waived if you are attending the concert and the concert fee is $5 per person, under 10 and Friends members free.
